QA/QC Field Engineer Intern-Summer 2027

The QA/QC Field Engineer Intern is a technical assistant to the field, acting as a liaison between the QA/QC Journeyman, Foreman, Superintendents and office. In this role, candidate will support the technical tools (iPads, QA/QC software, BIM360Field, Bluebeam), communicate project specifications needed for and any support details/drawings needed for QA/QC tasks (i.e. details of equipment layout, dimensions, equipment gear windows) needed to keep the field QA/QC resources efficient. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, willing and able to learn project checklist and issue management software packages, knowledge of electrical terminology and components is necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Enrolled in an accredited institution and actively working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction. Travel: Up to 100% Work Schedule: Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads training needs for technology tools, software applications, and SOP’s. Understands relational data sets for equipment and feeders and able to generate reports from such data. Ensures detailed procedures and checklists are in place to document that equipment is installed and energized to the project requirements, applicable standards, as well as customer requirements and specifications.
