Job Description

We're seeking a DevOps Engineering co-op to join our Ottawa, ON or Calgary, AB team Fall 2026. In this role, students contribute to the development, integration, and sustainment of software and firmware systems that support defence operations. These positions provide hands-on experience with build systems, automated testing, tooling evaluation, and DevOps practices. Students gain exposure to critical software capabilities used in land operations, including systems deployed on vehicles, command posts, and other operational platforms.

In this role you can expect to

Support and contribute to software and firmware build systems, helping ensure reliable and repeatable builds. Evaluate, document, and analyze software tools, providing actionable insights to engineering and product teams. Assist with the management and improvement of automated test systems, gaining exposure to test frameworks and scripting. Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution, under guidance from senior engineers.
