Position Title: Mechanical Engineer Intern Classification: Non-Exempt Reports To: Engineering Manager Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Role Summary: The Mechanical Engineer Intern provides hands-on engineering support to the Engineering team while gaining practical experience in product design, testing, documentation, and manufacturing processes within a manufacturing environment. This role offers exposure to mechanical engineering principles, product development activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. The intern will work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to support engineering projects, maintain technical documentation, and assist with testing and validation activities.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with product design, development, and improvement projects under supervision.
• Create and update engineering drawings, models, and documentation using CAD software.
• Support engineering change requests by updating documentation, drawings, bills of material, and related records.
• Assist with prototype builds, product testing, and validation activities.
• Collect, organize, and analyze engineering test data and prepare summaries of findings.
• Support research and development projects through data gathering, testing, and documentation.
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of work instructions, test procedures, and technical documentation.
