Winter Co-op 2027 - Software Engineering

As a Software Engineering Co-op, you’ll gain hands-on experience developing applications and systems that support business and customer solutions. You’ll work with modern development tools and frameworks to build scalable, high-quality software while contributing to the full software development lifecycle. We are currently looking for highly motivated students to join us in our Waterloo, Ontario, Canada office for a 4-month co-op, running from January 5th – April 22nd, 2027. This is a hybrid position, where you are expected to be in the office Tuesday-Thursday, with the opportunity to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Position Responsibilities

Contribute to a team of engineers focused on building scalable, reliable applications Support application development, testing, and debugging efforts Assist in feature development and system enhancements Collaborate with engineering and business teams to build user-focused solutions Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards Support deployment, monitoring, and ongoing application maintenance

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, JavaScript) Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket) Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment
