Summary

As a Strategic Projects - Continuous Improvement Intern, you'll help drive operational excellence initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce waste, enhance quality, and support business performance across the site. Working alongside Continuous Improvement and Operations teams, you'll analyze data, identify process improvement opportunities, and help implement solutions that create measurable business value.

Throughout the internship, you'll gain hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, process mapping, and digital transformation initiatives. You'll support projects focused on operational performance, cost reduction, standardization, and process optimization while exploring innovative applications of AI and Microsoft Copilot to improve workflows and decision-making.

Depending on business needs and individual performance, you may also have the opportunity to lead a project from concept through implementation, presenting recommendations and results to site leadership.

Responsibilities Include

Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives Support Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence projects focused on increasing efficiency, reducing waste, improving quality, and optimizing business processes. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions that deliver measurable results. Assist in tracking project metrics and evaluating business impact. Analyze Data to Identify Improvement Opportunities Collect, organize, and analyze operational, quality, and process data to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support data-driven decision making. Present findings and recommendations to project stakeholders and leadership teams.
