Position Summary

Morgan Properties is the second-largest apartment owner in the United States and the nation's largest private multifamily owner, with a portfolio of approximately 110,000 apartment homes across more than 400 communities in 22 states. Headquartered in Conshohocken, PA - just outside Philadelphia - we are a family-owned company with an entrepreneurial spirit and the scale of an industry leader. Behind every one of those apartment homes is technology, and our in-house engineering team builds the custom software that powers how we operate, invest, and serve our residents. The Software Engineering Co-op is a six-month, full-time position designed for Drexel University co-op students who want to build real software that ships to real users. As a co-op, you will be embedded in our Agile engineering team and contribute to the design, development, testing, and documentation of software used across the company. You will build applications and work on platforms that handle the operations, data, and workflows behind one of the largest real estate portfolios in the country. Our engineering organization is AI-native. We build with the latest generation of AI development tools - including Claude Code and other agentic AI coding assistants - as a core part of our daily workflow, and we develop Gen AI and Agentic AI solutions for the business itself. You will graduate from this co-op with hands-on experience in the development practices that are defining the next decade of software engineering, applied at enterprise scale in the real estate industry.

Software Development & Delivery Develop software components based on defined architecture and feature specifications, contributing to both front-end and back-end (full stack) work.
