EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a candidate for diploma, bachelor’s or master’s degree in network technology, Computer/Software/Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with an accredited school in Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you will do

• Troubleshoot customer network issues across various IP Service Router

platforms.

• Manage and support network environments using Nokia SR Linux (SRL), including

configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

• Assist in reproducing customer issues in the lab and documenting test

results.

• Perform basic configuration tasks on routers and switches under supervision.
• Identify opportunities for automation and develop solutions.
• Help prepare presentations or summaries based on findings from lab tests or

customer cases.

• Participate in continuous learning through internal workshops, trainings, and

shadowing opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

You Have

• Knowledge of concepts like the OSI model, TCP/IP, subnetting, routing

protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP)

• Strong knowledge of Linux platforms
• Strong knowledge of coding and automation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent written communication skills
• Quick learner and willing to share knowledge with others on the team

It Would Be Nice If You Also Had

• IP Certifications or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of how to configure routers and switches
• Exposure to tools such as Wireshark and IXIA
