Basic Job Functions

This internship supports process engineering activities within the Material Handling function, covering shipping, material processing, contractor oversight, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Supporting process engineering initiatives within material handling operations, including shipping and material processing workflows; Assisting with the identification, scoping, and documentation of process improvement opportunities across material handling functions; Supporting coordination and performance oversight of contractors performing material handling, shipping, or material processing work; Collecting and analyzing operational data to identify bottlenecks, safety risks, or efficiency opportunities in shipping and material processing; Supporting development of standard work, process documentation, and continuous improvement recommendations; Partnering with logistics, operations, maintenance, and contractor t
