Our team is excited to meet you!Job Overview & Responsibilities As a Material and Process Engineering Intern at United Launch Alliance, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience with launch vehicle parts, materials, and processes. Responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:

Supporting materials selection, characterization, and qualification of metallic, polymer, composite, and additively manufactured components Assisting in developing, reviewing, and improving material, process, and manufacturing specifications Support mechanical, metallurgical, chemical, environment, and/or materials testing as applicable Analyze test data and prepare technical reports, presentations, and engineering documentation Participate in material failure investigations and root-cause analysis Support evaluation of material properties, compatibility, degradation, and performance in demanding ground and launch system environments Assist with manufacturing process development, troubleshooting, and process improvement Work with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and technicians to resolve material and process issues Rese
