THE ROLE

As a year-round Finance & Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting Oshkosh Corporation’s financial operations while applying what you are learning in the classroom to real business situations. Opportunities are available across several Finance and Accounting teams, and interns may be matched to assignments based on their skills, interests, academic background, and business needs. Depending on your assignment, you may gain experience in areas such as corporate accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury, financial analysis, or financial systems and controls. You’ll work alongside Finance and Accounting professionals, contribute to meaningful projects and recurring business processes, and develop an understanding of how financial information supports decision-making across a global organization. As a year-round intern, you'll have the opportunity to build deeper experience over time while maintaining flexibility around your academic schedule.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Finance & Accounting Intern, your responsibilities may include: Supporting monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and other special projects Supporting fixed asset accounting and related financial processes Preparing and reviewing financial reports, schedules, and account activity Assisting with sales and use tax returns, exemption certificates, and related compliance activities Supporting federal, state, and international income tax proce
