Intern - Controls Engineer

We're seeking Controls Engineer Interns in all three of our core business units (Critical Handling Solutions, Advanced Manufacturing, and Automated Assembly) to gain firsthand career building experience with technologies such as PLCs, robots, servo motors, VFDs, computer vision and more. The Controls Engineer Intern jumps right into the team designing and troubleshooting both software and hardware necessary for integration of manufactured systems and products that are key deliverables to customers. No idea is too small or discovery too insignificant. We're always looking for the best innovations.

Qualifications

Junior or rising Senior in a relevant Engineering discipline (i.e., mechanical, electrical, controls, computer, mechatronics) Competent in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access Effective verbal and written communication skills in English Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Team player who can also be independent with outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills Some experience or course work with robotics, automation systems, circuit design, panel design/layout, control components, real-time OS, software development, PLC program
