What You Will Do
As a Methods Intern – Hot Section Engineering you will… Develop and implement software and process solutions to improve engineering efficiency and workflow across Hot Section Engineering. Collaborate with design, structures, durability, and project engineering teams to understand requirements and optimize execution of their tasks. Support hot section module and component development by creating tools and processes that enhance design, validation, and sustainment activities. Partner with cross‑functional teams, both in-office and on the shop floor, to streamline operations and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing, quality, and safety. Analyze current engineering processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, or enhanced data accessibility. Participate in the Hot Section Engineering internship framework by engaging with mentors, applying learned skills, and contributing to project deliverables within a flexible learning environment.
