About Our Internship Program

Throughout your internship, you will have regular events, weekly lunch and learn sessions, and receive customized training from our business units. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into supporting the needs of Stanley Black & Decker both in the US and abroad. The interns will gain first-hand exposure to Stanley Black & Decker and have the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network. Interns are expected to adapt to change and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, and confidence. Interns must be team-oriented and collaborative.

The Job

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to support the Tool & Outdoor team with key activities including: Assists with the development of software for electrically powered equipment. Assists senior engineers by developing tests for software components. Analyzes software problems with test equipment and analysis tools to determine root cause of technical issues. Assists research and other engineering personnel to prepare design modifications as required. Assists with the development of embedded software for electrically powered equipment.
