About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Cyber Security Intern to join our Security Engineering team in London. This is a hands-on placement providing practical experience across Security Operations (SOC), cloud security, vulnerability management, incident response and security engineering. Working alongside experienced Senior Security Engineers, you will gain exposure to enterprise security technologies including Microsoft 365, firewalls, Slack, cloud services and endpoint security while supporting the protection of our business systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with Tier 1 Security Operations Centre (SOC) alert triage, investigation and escalation using Microsoft Sentinel and other security monitoring platforms. Investigate potential security incidents by analysing alerts generated from firewalls, Microsoft 365, Slack and other cloud services. Perform log analysis across SIEM and cloud platforms to identify suspicious activity and support incident investigations. Assist in vulnerability management by validating findings, supporting remediation activities and coordinating with internal IT teams. Support security reviews and risk assessments for new business initiatives, including AI tools, AI agents and third-party SaaS integrations such as Outlook, Slack, Miro and other collaboration platforms.
