Xcel Energy is seeking candidates to support our Customer Energy and Transportation Solutions (CETS) organization, specifically within the Product Planning and Strategy team in Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact analytical projects that support the planning, evaluation, and regulatory reporting of demand-side management (DSM) programs serving customers across our service territory. The intern will work directly with technical consultants to evaluate the cost-effectiveness and financial performance of DSM programs for Northern States Power-Minnesota (NSP-M) and Public Service Company (PSCo). A key responsibility of the role will be supporting the development of cost-benefit analyses and associated documentation for regulatory filings, including ownership of analytical components supporting the Company's South Dakota DSM filing. In addition to regulatory and financial analysis activities, the intern will help identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of program planning and reporting.
