Labcorp is seeking a Research and Development Intern to join our Oncology Medical Team located in Durham, NC! Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40hrs per week

Job Responsibilities

Learn about clinical testing and processing behind testing development Learn techniques, including Next Generation Sequencing and data analysis Development lead for a new Oncology Next Generation Sequencing assay Maintain clear, thorough, and accurate experiment notes Apply critical thinking skills to experimental results Communicate findings at laboratory meetings

Minimum Qualifications

Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Genetics or Biological Science

Preferred Qualifications

3-6 months experience with Next Generation Sequencing technologies
