Summary STP’s Operations Internship Program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in the operations of a commercial nuclear power plant. This program offers a comprehensive understanding of power plant operations, safety protocols, and system management. The intern will work closely with the operations team to support plant activities and gain exposure to nuclear power plant operations.

Assisting with the monitoring of plant systems and processes to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. Supporting the team with data collection, analysis, and reporting to optimize plant performance. Assisting in the preparation and review of operational logs and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Supporting the implementation of safety and quality assurance procedures within the plant. Observing and participating in the maintenance of plant systems, identifying areas for improvement in operations and safety practices.
