Summer Intern - Layout Engineering

About the role

As a Layout Engineering intern, you will report to the Layout and Design Integration Engineering Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer, May - August 2027.

Key Responsibilities

Help perform physical arrangement of the nuclear island structures, equipment, piping, commodities, and supports using 3D design software Perform hazards evaluations with 3D plant models and analysis software Read and interpret engineering drawings and criteria documents Work with customers, vendors and our teams to obtain information to support work activities Plan and schedule to meet requirements Solve technical engineering problems Participate in design reviews and present technical designs and analysis results to team members

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, architectural, or other engineering Completed Sophomore year of college

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
