Job DetailsJob Location: Ark Encounter - Williamstown, KY 41097Position Type: InternshipJob Category: InternshipSummary The Embark Internship Program contributes to the spiritual, personal, and professional development of the student. As a Talent Acquisition Embark Intern, the student will gain hands-on experience in the various functions of the Talent Acquisition department while serving the Ministry of Answers in Genesis. This position provides opportunities to learn about recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, employee engagement, volunteering, training, and other areas of the Talent Acquisition team. This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion. Responsibilities Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis. Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done. Approach all tasks with a second mile mindset. Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments. Participate in life-skills development courses provided for Embark interns. Assist with interviewing, scheduling, onboarding, candidate communication, and other recruiting-related activities. Contribute to Talent Acquisition research initiatives and projects. Participate in Welcome classes, including opportunities to support and teach portions of the new-hire presentations. Collaborate with the Volunteer Team to serve at volunteer opportunities and events at the Ark Encounter. And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. QualificationsRequirements Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith. Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must live in ministry-provided housing while serving as an intern. Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church. Education & Experience Must have a minimum of 45 College Credits Must be currently pursuing a degree.
